# create your account

To access Folio projects, you need a free Expert account. Account creation takes under two minutes.

### Go to the signup page

Go to [app.folio.works/signup](https://app.folio.works/signup).

### Enter your details

Enter your email address and create a password.

### Verify your email

Check your inbox and click the verification link to confirm your email.

### Choose an account type

When prompted to select an account type, choose **Expert**.

You will then be taken directly into the onboarding wizard to complete your profile.
