Folio processes all Expert payments through Stripe. You must connect a Stripe account before you can receive payment for completed work.
Setting Up Payments
Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
Select the Payment tab.
Click Connect to Stripe.
Stripe will guide you through the account setup process. You will need to provide standard identity and banking information to complete the connection.
Stripe Recipient Agreement: By registering your Stripe account through Folio, you agree to the Stripe Recipient Agreement. Review this agreement before proceeding.
Important Notes
Payment setup is required before Folio can disburse any earnings.
You can connect your Stripe account at any time — you do not need to wait until you are hired for a project.
