# Completing Skills Assessments

Becoming a student on Folio's platform allows you to showcase your talents to employers beyond just your resume and profile. Curated skills assessments are available for you to take based on your resume, experience, and interests. These are highly encouraged as they provide a more complete profile to employers, and allow you to showcase your strengths!

To find these assessments, navigate to "My Profile" on the sidebar and locate the Assessments tab in your profile homepage.

Although not required, these assessments are a way for you to stand out to employers during your internship search. Employers will be able to view which assessments you have completed and your achieved scores on your profile when considering you as a candidate. Each assessment typically takes 45-60 minutes.
