Your Folio Email Alias is a private relay email address (ending in @experts-dev.folioworks.com) that you can share publicly instead of your personal email. Messages sent to it are forwarded to your account email. Manage it under SettingsAccount.

Profile

chevron-rightDoes Folio automatically fill in my profile from my resume?hashtag

Yes. When you upload your resume or CV during onboarding, Folio extracts your name, education, work experience, and skills to pre-populate your profile. Review and edit the auto-filled information before finalizing.

You can verify via NPI number (physicians and eligible providers), university email (students), LinkedIn URL (professionals), or by uploading a work ID or professional license. See SettingsVerification.

Yes. Verified profiles are prioritized in project matching and are more competitive for high-value roles.

Add all clinical specialties that are relevant to your training and licensure. Specialties are used to match you with AI training projects in your area of expertise.

Jobs & Applications

Browse available positions on the Jobs page. Click a job card to view details, then click Apply Now. You will receive a confirmation immediately.

Yes. You can apply to as many positions as you are qualified for.

"Best Match" filters and ranks available jobs based on how closely they align with your profile, specialties, and completed certifications.

Make sure your profile is complete — especially your specialties and verification status. Incomplete profiles receive fewer job matches. If you have a complete profile and still see no results, contact support.

Payments

Go to SettingsPaymentConnect to Stripe. Follow the Stripe onboarding steps to link your bank account.

chevron-rightWhen will I get paid?hashtag

Folio operates on a weekly pay cycle. Payments are processed on Wednesdays and funds typically arrive by Thursday. See Time Tracking & Payarrow-up-right for the full schedule.

chevron-rightI submitted hours but haven't been paid. What should I do?hashtag

Confirm your hours were submitted before the Sunday deadline and that your Stripe account is connected and verified. If payment still hasn't arrived by end of day Thursday, contact [email protected]envelope.

No. Folio pays the full contracted amount and does not withhold taxes. You are responsible for your own tax obligations as an independent contractor. See Tax Overviewarrow-up-right.

Verification

Ensure the NPI number you entered is correct and matches the name on your Folio profile. If the issue persists, contact support with your NPI and the name on file with the NPI registry.

You can browse and apply to jobs without verification, but certain high-value roles require verified credentials. Completing verification increases your eligibility and profile visibility.

Folio Learn

Courses are not universally required to apply for jobs, but completing relevant courses can improve your application ranking and may be required for specific projects.
