What is the Internship Program?

The Internship Program provides students, recent grads and career switchers with personalized training and guaranteed paid internship placement in your ideal career path. The Program focuses on training in AI-fluency and critical soft skills, and includes curated video content, assessments, and AI tools for you to learn and master. The Program also includes events programming, mock interview prep, and resume review with Folio.

What You Get

• Guaranteed paid internship placement with a company to gain hands-on experience. The program typically lasts 10-15 weeks, beginning with training and internship matching, followed by a paid internship in your desired industry.

• AI skills and job training classes taught by industry professionals (e.g. OpenAI, Canva, and more!)

• Personalized learning paths in your career track and assessments to highlight your skills.

• 1:1 Introductions to hiring managers and founders

• The opportunity to receive an extended, paid offer after your internship

• Support for CPT is included

Logistics

• The Internship Program (training and internship) is held remotely.

• We regularly work with international students and can support CPT/OPT sponsorship.

• Cohorts begin on the first Wednesday of each month.

• Create a free Folio account and complete the Internship Program application on our home page.

• Schedule your 10-minute Career Coaching session .

• We will get back to you with a final decision 48 hours after your career coaching session.

Fees & Financial Aid

• The Standard Program fee is $2000 with financial aid available through multiple options:

  • Individuals who are FAFSA qualified or have received some other type of documented financial aid in the past are eligible for a financial aid award. After you have submitted your Program application, bring up financial aid during your 10-minute Career Coaching session to discuss specifics.

  • We have a scholarship program available. Submit your application and let us know you are interested in being considered for the scholarship during your 10-minute Career Coaching session.

  • We also offer a payment plan with a $500 invoice upfront, then three payments of $500 later in the program.

  • Students participating in for-credit internship programs with our partner universities can access the Internship Program at no cost.

What is the refund policy?

• If we cannot match you within 4 weeks, we will issue a full refund.

What companies participate?

Hosts are portfolio companies of some of the hottest VCs, including Bloomberg Beta, Antler, Atlassian Ventures, First Round, and more. Folio also partners with several Fortune 500 companies for a larger company experience, and will make sure to help match you to the right size, industry, and job sector.
