Onboarding

Step 1: Upload Your Resume

After uploading your resume, our platform will automatically start building your profile for you.

Step 2: Add Information About Hometown, Relocation, FAFSA Eligibility, and Work Authorization Status.

Folio uses this information to facilitate your internship search process. While some of our employers are looking for students with access to work-study or other wage subsidies, there are plenty of opportunities for all students.

Step 3: Go To Your Profile and Finish Setup (Note: This Is Required Before You Can Apply To Jobs)

You will then be brought to our discover page with currently available internships. Before you can apply to these internships, use the sidebar to navigate to "My Profile" and review your profile.

You will see this screen to review your profile to confirm your basic information, education, and skills.

Your profile will automatically complete itself with the information you input!

If you are still marked as "Unavailable," you will receive a red popup message with what sections are missing from your profile. Navigate to any missing sections and fill in the required information.

Once you see this green "Available" bar, you are ready to apply to internships! Head to the Discover tab on the sidebar to find opportunities that match your interests.
